Grandparents Day

posted Feb 6, 2013, 7:08 AM by St Vincent's Convent National School Cork
The week of January 28th was Catholic Schools Week. Throughout the week, the children celebrated the Catholic ethos of our school, remembering our founder, Mary Aikenhead, our Trustees, the Religious Sisters of Charity, and all of the people in our families and communities that help us. On Wednesday January 30th, we had Grandparents Day. We love our grandparents so much. The grandparents of the Junior Infant classes visited us, and told us all about life when they were at school. They played games with us, and helped us to draw pictures. We thanked them for coming by saying a special prayer for our grandparents together. Here are some pictures we took of the day.
